Welcome Northborough/Southborough alumni of Northborough High School, Peters High School, Algonquin Regional and Assabet Valley Vocational Regional High School.  We’re glad you’re on our site as a means to keep in touch and learn about this year’s Reunion. 

It seems like yesterday we were graduating from the old Northborough High or Algonquin Regional; whether you remember the principal Mr. Fraser or Miss Taft with her erect posture, looking down at the gym from the second floor window; or Mr. Higgiston, the principal over at Algonquin and the skunk in the courtyard, you'll want to attend this fall's Reunion and meet up with old friends.

With years behind us, we've many interesting stories to tell and lot's of catching up to do. Make plans to include this annual event in your vacation time. You are part of our history, join us in remembering the good times!

Our Mission

The Northborough High School Association was organized on December 1, 1870. According to the organization’s by-laws, "the object of this association shall be to perpetuate the memories of school days, and to reunite at least once in each year all past and present scholars of the Northboro High School at a social and literary meeting."  Except during some war years, the Association has “reunited” at least once in each year. 

The 1870 by-laws indicate that originally the reunions were held on the eve of Thanksgiving Day. The day was subsequently changed to “during the summer at a time and place to be designated…”  

In recent years the reunion has been held on a Saturday in September, which has worked well.  The reunion is open to anyone who ever attended Northborough High School, Peters High School, Algonquin Regional or Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School.
